Sycous have been non-stop this Movember raising money for men’s health! This year the team decided to take on a couple of challenges, with some members undertaking physical challenges and others attempting… to grow the famous Movember moustache.
What is Movember?
Movember are the leading charity for men’s health and fund projects across the world focused on 3 areas, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer. The work they do is made possible by their annual Movember campaign, where people across the world fundraise by growing a moustache, undertaking physical challenges or by hosting their own event. Sycous Movers
The other side of the team have been non-stop over the past month! There’s been a couple of different challenges related to men’s mental health that the team have been completing.
One for running 60 km over the month for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour, every hour across the world. The other for running / swimming / walking / cycling over 385 kilometres throughout the month to raise awareness of the 385 men that on average die a month in the UK from suicide.
Big thank-you to Odessa from our Business Development Team, Angelica, Ruby, Zach and Candice from our Development Team and Tom from our Marketing Team for completing.
The team have collectively managed to move 1353 kilometres during the month!
